Woodclad Windows

Wood Clad windows are traditional wood windows with a protective layer of material on the exterior to reduce external maintenance.

Clad windows were first developed in 1966 and became an immediate hit, offering high efficiency and low maintenance. They can be used in new construction or as a replacement window.

Exterior Frame:
The frame of the exterior of a clad window can consist of vinyl, fiberglass or aluminum. These materials provide weather resistance and reduce problems such as wood rot and termite damage.

Interior Frame:
The interior of the frame is wood. This wood can be sealed with a clear sealant, stained to match your existing woodwork , or painted or stained to whatever color you prefer.

Wood Clad offers a carefree exterior, plus the rich, warm beauty of wood on the interior. Milgard's Wood Clad windows feature furniture-grade, natural wood in Douglas Fir without a nail hole or staple on them.
